I was very happy when I finished cleaning out my yard a couple of weeks ago. It has been on my mind for a while that it was something I HAD to do! When I finished, I didn't realize all the planting I did Last year! there were some flowers that started to bloom that I had forgotten about. This week I wanted to capture some of the blooms in a work of art that can last! So I hope you enjoy the latest art work that is still drying on my easel!

2020 was a hard year for most of us, so I decided to paint this large canvas that has been laying around for awhile. I guess I was waiting for the right time to use this canvas, and what a time to let out my frustrations and prayers! This was painted with no preconceived ideas. I started with layers of texture then I added colors and I started painting a figure of a head and shoulders then I thought the statue of liberty! So I prayerfully added her after all the layers of textures were dry. Wow what a way to pray for our broken USA. I hope she encourages you to pray for the USA.
